Margate v. Leigh RMI preview

Patterson's Red and White Army travel to Dover and the south coast tomorrow for a vital relegation battle against fellow strugglers Margate.

Should RMI continue their recent good run and win their fourth game in a row in all competitions, it will give their Conference survival hopes a huge shot in the arm. Victory should push RMI even further up the Conference table to continue their recent revival in fortunes following the appointment of former Bolton Wanderers and RMI midfielder Mark Patterson as manager following the resignation of former manager Steve Waywell.

Margate are struggling right alongside RMI in the Conference relegation scrap and will desperate for points at their temporary home at Dover Athletic's Crabble ground.

Ian Monk may return to the Leigh side after several months on the sidelines because of a hernia operation. This has only added to Mark Patterson's selection problems, as he has a full strength side to choose from. However, I'm sure Paddy would certainly agree that it's a nice problem to have!
