Doncaster clinch promotion

Doncaster Rovers have returned to the Nationwide League after five year absence, clinching promotion after defeating London side Dagenham & Redbridge in the inaugural Conference play-off final.

Francis Tierney's 'golden goal' in extra time was enough to clinch promotion for Doncaster with a 3-2 victory in front of more than 13,000 at the Britannia Stadium, home of First Division outfit Stoke City.
