Forrest fire for RMI!

Leigh RMI manager Mark Patterson has responded to his side's recent two match home losing streak by completing the loan signing of midfielder Martyn Forrest from local Third Division outfit Bury.

24 year old midfielder Forrest has signed on a three month loan, much to the delight of Patterson who had earlier stated his intent to improve his squad following Saturday's disappointing 2-1 home defeat against struggling Forest Green Rovers, preceeded by the previous week's 1-0 home defeat to Woking.

Forrest has started over 90 matches for Bury but hasn't featured this season as he isn't part of the plans of Shakers boss Andy Preece and will join former Gigg Lane team mates Steve Redmond and Nicky Hill at Hilton Park.
