Hallows leaves for Magpies

RMI striker Marcus Hallows has departed Hilton Park for Unibond Premiership side Chorley on a free transfer after being transfer listed by RMI manager Mark Patterson earlier this week.

He joins former RMI striker Andy Mason at Chorley, along with other former Leythers Ian Barker and Ian Bold.

Hallows decided to leave after not been given a chance in the first team, making only seven substitute appearences all season. The former Stalybridge Celtic and St Patrick’s Athletic man has not been happy with this and has ended his contract with the club by mutual agreement.

Former Bolton Wanderer's reserve striker Chris Downey is set to replace Hallows in the squad, but RMI manager Mark Patterson believes that one more player will complete his plans of rebuilding the Railwaymen's squad.
