Reserve boss leaves

Leigh RMI reserve team manager Danny Johnson has reportedly departed Hilton Park in order to take over the management of North West Trains League side Trafford FC, taking assistants Ron Hodkin and Paul Fletcher with him.

The trio take charge at Trafford with immediate effect and will be in charge for Trafford's home game with Warrington Town on Saturday.

They have guided the reserve side to a comfortable mid-table position in the Lancashire League this season in the inaugural season of the reformed RMI reserve side, with reserve stars Adam Lucas and Chris Downey both being awarded new contracts with the club following impressive performances in the second string.

Johnson, Hodkin and Fletcher will complete their duties with RMI when they attend a fundraising Irish Night event on Friday evening which will be held at Body Image Fitness Image, main sponsors of Leigh RMI.
