Stevo scores again!

Twenty-seven year old former Leigh RMI striker Steve Jones scored two more goals this afternoon when he scored a double in his side's shock 3-0 victory over Sunderland.

Northern Ireland international Jones, who also scored in Crewe's 1-1 draw with Stoke City on his twenty seventh birthday a few weeks ago, hit two as the Alex defeated the relegated Black Cats.

If Jones keeps up this sort of form, it can only be a matter of time before a Premiership club come knocking. Let's hope so, as RMI are entitled to 15% of any future transfer fee, while Jones certainly deserves a chance in the Premiership.
