Leigh RMI's FA Trophy third round replay at Stalybridge Celtic tomorrow night has been postponed due to a Football Association inquiry into player eligibility.

The investigation is believed to be centred around the eligibility of RMI goalkeeper Sebastien Rowe, who made his debut in Saturday's 1-1 draw. Rowe apparently didn't receive full international clearance to resume playing in England after spending the summer in the United States. Rowe had previously been with Third Division side Bury, but left the club when their reserve side disbanded in a cost-cutting exercise.

Should RMI be found guilty of fielding an ineligible player, they are subject to a fine from the FA and may even by suspended from the FA Trophy competition for this season or longer.

As reported earlier, the winners of the replay will play Marine in the 4th round, not to mention recieving £4,000 prize money .
