Starbuck shake up as RMI feel wrath

Following last week's embarrassing 4-1 Lancashire FA Marsden Trophy defeat at Chorley, RMI have felt the wrath of manager Phil Starbuck, with four stars being transfer listed and one released.

Former Yeovil Town striker Carl Alford has been released after barely a month with the club, with neither supporters nor manager impressed with the over-weight striker, having only played barely 45 minutes of Conference football for RMI in the home defeat to Farnborough.

Long-serving midfielder Ged Kielty has been transfer listed, and this may be of interest to Stalybridge Celtic manager, and former RMI assistant boss, Dave Miller, who took Kielty to Bower Fold on a loan deal earlier in the season.

David Tickle has also been placed on the transfer list, and he is reportedly interesting Burscough, while England Semi-Pro international midfielder Warren Peyton and former Northwich striker Damian Whitehead, who has only returned to the club in recent weeks, have both been made available for transfer.
