Jones transfer value set to rocket?

The ongoing goalscoring exploits of Crewe Alexandra striker Steve Jones looks set to see his transfer value sky-rocket, and it would certainly be of benefit to his former club, Leigh RMI.

Jones scored another two goals in his side's 4-2 defeat at West Ham United to take the Northern Ireland internationls goal tally for the season up to fifteen league goals, keeping himself in the top few goalscorers in the First Division.

RMI are entitled to a proportion of Jones' next transfer fee, and with talk of interest for Crewe's First Division rivals Reading, RMI could be set for a financial windfall.
