Phil Starbuck has signed two more players in his bid to strengthen Leigh RMI for the upcoming Conference campaign. He has made yet another signing from former club Hucknall in Carl Adams and has also brought in Chris Lane after an impressive two game spell at RMI last season.
Former Everton trainee Lane plays in a wing-back role and has vast experience in the Conference. He has previously played for Chester, Hereford, Morecambe and Southport at Conference level.
Starbuck's third signing from Hucknall, Carl Adams, is an experienced midfielder who has had Conference experience at Kettering Town. He will join in the Railwaymen's pre-season training in an effort to prove his fitness to Phil Starbuck.
Also David McNiven has been given to the end of the week to sign a new deal with the club. Interest from several Conference and League clubs has put a hold on the deal.
