Airdrie's frailties have been there for every one to see in the first games of the season and yet we have fans who just can't agree an where things have to change. Saturdays match against Queen of the South will let us see if Sandy can see where things are going wrong!
Queen of the South have been a frustration for Sandy Stewart, last season we managed a home win, a draw at home and were defeated twice on the road. The first twenty minutes against Partick Thistle saw us in charge until Paul Lovering was sent off and although we gave four cheap goals away we were never really out of the game. Against Gretna it was a different story, in all honesty it seemed like it was boys against men and it really was a gutless performance from a lot of our players. Sandy in his interview with L107 said that he is determined to change our home performances. It's important that we get points on the board as soon as possible and even taking a scrappy 1 - 0 win would be a start. Kevin Christie and Willie McLaren were suffering from a virus during Wednesday game and may not feature tomorrow due to it, they did train today but Sandy will have to wait and see on their fitness. Paul Lovering will return to tomorrows team line up after serving his suspension for the Gretna game. Once again Sandy Stewart was interviewed at around about 6:15pm on L107
