Queen of the South Vs Airdrie Preview

Ah Palmerston the site of the most boring mind numbing games ever! Is that true or is it the fact we have only ever gained one point against Queen of the South and have never scored a goal in four matches in Dumfries that makes me feel that way?

Tomorrow's match could be one of the most important matches of the season and any sort of result is a bonus.

Kenny Black will be heading down to Dumfries with out Mark Smyth who is suspended after his sending off against Clyde. Kevin Christie who was substituted early in the second half against Gretna is not expected to make it as he has been visiting the Physio all week.

Could this be Kevin MacDonald's last game for Airdrie? Due to the new transfer regulations he has to return to Hibs after tomorrows game, if he is allowed to return to us whether on trial or on a permanent basis it will not and cannot happen until the transfer window opens up on January 1st 2007.

In some other news, Airdrie have never lost a game under Brian Winters!

Once again Kenny Black Will be interviewed at around about 6:15pm on L107 and will no doubt contradict everything I have written.

Kenny Black found the Gretna game very pleasing but losing the early goal is a little disappointing.

We would have settled for one goal but getting four and Gary Twigg getting three was an important step forward for the team.

Kenny thinks the Motherwell game will take care of it's self, the Lanarkshire derby will be and always is something special.

He feels that tomorrows game will not be a decider and we have to a least come away with a share of the spoils.
