Airdrie Vs Coatbridge (Schools Cup Semi's)

Airdrie United Supporters Trust launched the United Schools cup today with the preliminary rounds taking place at Espieside pitches in Coatbridge. Airdrie Academy, Caldervale High, St Margaret's, Chryston High, St Andrew's High, Coatbridge High, Rosehall and St Ambrose took part in the opening rounds.

The supporters trust would like to thank those who turned up to support the schools and the trust and we think a special thanks should go to the boys who turned up to play some very good football.

In the end only four teams can progress to the semi finals and that as fate would have it has produced two Airdrie Vs Coatbridge semi finals.

The semi finals are Caldervale Vs Coatbridge High and Airdrie Academy Vs St Andrews

Both Semi finals will be played at Craigneuk Parks in Airdrie with a 6:00pm kick off on Thursday 26th of March for both matches.

Again thank you to everyone who helped with the competition the volunteer referees and Strathclyde Police who turned up to launch the event.
