I don’t understand why the Challenge Cup is allowed to kick of the Irn Bru Football Leagues season; teams who have been successful in their respective leagues should have the opportunity to show off Championship flags on the opening day of the season in my opinion. However we’re here once again on the brink of the new season and I for one can’t wait to get started.
On the official website Kenny Black says that every player is enthusiastic about the upcoming season and I’m sure they will be happy to have pre-season over and done with and now have the chance to get some competitive games under their belt. But who will we see line up against Dumbarton tomorrow from his twenty one player squad?

It’s not my job to pick the team but as you can see from the above I have more or less chosen a first eleven, based on...... total guess work. One thing for sure, Kenny is without Paul Lovering as he is suspended for the opening weeks of the season.
