A borefest at Broomfield!

Many people have commented that this was the worst game of the season, it's not something specifically aimed at Airdrie or Livingston, it's aimed at the match over all. The game had no bite, no energy, no passion and I'm very glad I was in hospitlaity behind a glass window.
There was only really two talking points of the whole game, a goal for both teamsin the first half that were ruled offside.
The first was from Livingston's, Calum Elliot, Liam Fox drilled a 25-yard shot on goal which was well saved by Stephen Robertson and Calum Elliot's follow up was deemed by the near side linesman to be offside. As you can see from the photograph he wasn't.

The second major talking point came from a Joe Cardle shot that Livi's Roddy McKenzie failed to gather, Simon Lynch had also strayed offside according to the far side lines, before stealing the ball from McKenzies hands and netting.

Once again clearly not offside, so both decisions were wrong and the game turned in to a game of head tennis, with neither team willing to take the chance to play football the way it's supposed to be played, on the ground.
Airdrie 0 vs 0 Livingston.
