The draw for the Home Coming Scottish cup has been made and although Chelsea have tried to steal some of the lime light from the draw by sacking Luiz Felipe Scolari, it was Portsmouth who decided to take the shine off the cup draw by Sacking Tony Adams earlier today. The Scottish Home Coming Cup has produced the following fixtures...

great incentive to get through to hopefully play Aberdeen at home,a team we havent had at New Broomfield yet. Would defo bring back the buzz of a great cup tie atmosphere,,,,just need to try and get a holiday nxt tuesday for the dunfermline game,,,bloody backshift!!!!

I've never seen Airdrie play Aberdeen at Pittodrie and if it was away It was the draw I was hoping for.

So we're going to win the cup by beating 2 non-league sides, then 2 Fife teams, and finish off by beating 2 Glasgow teams (or maybe 2 Lanarkshire teams).

Airdrie haven't played Aberdeen for a long time so I'm really hoping we can stuff Dunfermiline out of the cup.

whilst we could be doing with a money spinning gubbing from one of the mould firm league points are more important.

I agree the leagues more important but the confidence from winning against rivals teams can only benefit us later in the season.

I'd be calling for the heads of anyone concerned with the club if they even considered this.
You should be going out to win every game. The cups are our own chance of glory and the memories of our giant killing games of the past are my proudest moments as a diamond. In fact if it wasn't for our cup runs I probably wouldn't be as big a Airdrie fan as I am.
