Airdrie lost 4 - 0 away to Queen of the South in Dumfries. After an opening 15 minutes when it looked like the game was evenly match two decsions and a poor second half has made survival in the Scottish Irn Bru First division very difficult.

I will let the video highlights from you tube make the comments.

We've seen it before MacDonald goes in for the tackle with his right foot but he then brings his left leg around, his right foot plays the ball but his left then trips the midfielder, yellow card at worst and probably the best tackle MacDonald has ever made. Neither foot is lifted showing studs.

The sending off offence was made to look worse by the attempt of the Queens No 4 to feign injury. He rolled around, got over two minutes of treatment and then sprinted back onto the field when waved on. The main impact he got was from the ball as KM played the ball first.

No excuses for the rest of the performance though - we were woeful. We had already started to fall out of the game before the sending off.
