Ross COunty 0 - 0 Airdrie

If direct shot's on goal gave you bonus points in the league then Airdrie would have lost this match 3 - 0, Soutar in the County goal never had a real save to make and Robertson was put under pressure by our own defensive mistakes, but like most of the season our Robertson dealt with them.
In the opening five minutes Airdrie looked in control of the game but the closest the possesion came to opening the scoring was a goal mouth scramble that Soutar finally gathered up.
That to be honest was the highlight of the match, neither team showed any belief or passion for the game, both sides had a fair share of the possession but didn't know how to finish some of the pretty patterns they made around the park.
Robertson
Mclachlan, Donnelly, Smyth, Nixon
Smith, McKenna, McLaughlin Hazely
McGuire, Di-Giacomo
Not an inspiring line up, but yesterday I think I saw more runs to the by line and crossed balls from Hazely and Smith than I have from Cardle and McDougall all season. Maybe they don't have the same skill or flare but they put in enough balls to our mis firing midfield and attack that we at least had a chance.
0 - 0 was the predicted result by many of the fans on the Stomp and it was a fair result but when I thought Clyde had managed to beat Queen of the South I thought it was all over.
Clyde & QotS drew so our point keeps us in contact and the battle goes on.

However, this present policy of starting without our top scorer and [in my opinion] best player takes some understanding.
Apologies to KB if Lynch is carrying an injury or is unwell.
What we need now is goals and that needs a policy of attacking. Put simply I would be playing three at the back and using Baird as the attacking midfielder.

Lynch, DI-Giacomo

But then again Ross Couty were playing with five across the middle so...
Negative tactics will get us relegated - time for some attacking performances as time is rapidly running out!
Its nonsense
Even if we saw him changing it a bit with the likes of Watt at least maybe we would be a bit more positive but its not going to happen with KB as manager.
