Turn the lights off!

On the 2nd of May 2010 after twelve years I've decided to hang up my Stomping boots, basically i'm sick to the back teeth of it! So would the last one out please turn the lights out.
Over the next few weeks if you see things disappearing you will at least know the reason why and if any one else wants to take on the challenge of catering to our fans you're more than welcome to contact Sport Network and it's all yours.
As I said above don't forget to turn the lights out!

Thanks for everything you have done over the years on here but nobody asked you to pander to anyone. If you didnt like any postings just ignore them. Come May it will be the end of more than just the stomp,there is no regular bus to away games,no player of the year events,will be the end of the trust(as no one is going to go the official trust site,lol), the club will have an average of 600-700 fans in the 2nd division. All in all, its lights out everywhere.

I insert a story per week, namely a match report, if anyone wants to do an article just type it up in a pm and i'll copy and paste it onto the news section, that should keep the place open

Would you like a story about a bunch a fine upstanding citizens who managed to defend Airdrie against rampaging gangs of vagabonds from Glasgow, Edinburgh and the likes?
I think they are called the B Sections or something, would be delightful to hear their story of heroism against hordes of tramps from places outwith Airdrie.
I am sure there are some good stories out there from the 70's, 80's and the 90's about these fine, upstanding pillars of the community who while trying to shy away from fistcuffs and other boisterous behaviour, will no doubt defend the honour of Airdrie if pushed!!!

Dont forget the wummin and children either- or are they part of the horrified bystanders? In fact bystanders should be shoppers, horrified shoppers sounds better. What about horrified shoppers who were old wummin out with their weans?

Hey don't worry won't be hanging around here much longer anyway. Sooner you guys face up to the fact that JB is taking you guys for a ride the better. Franchise United will be gone soon and then you guys can go back to supporting Rangers.
Airdrie fans wonder why they are hated and when you point out why, they go off on one. Franchise United will never be Airdrieonians and its time you all woke up and realised it. This club is Ballantyne's and he doesn't give a stuff about the fans if he pulls the plug there is no coming back this time, and you know what I bet the rest of Scottish Football will shed no tears for you.

When franchise United go @#$%& up don't say I didn't tell you. JB is taking you for a ride and none of you can see it. The fans should have setup a club run by the fans for fans, instead you are all JB's lapdogs.
