The SFL AGM, I wonder if there will be any announcements that might throw light on the situation at Airdrie? ie The Presidents position.

I can't believe that they are still persisting with this two- bob, joke of a tourney. Didn't they look at last years attendances?

Aye, but it's sponsored and wee teams that own their ground will take any revenue they can get. The 1st round is regionalised, so travel shouldn't be to problematic. It's the teams with high overheads that will suffer.
I would have used this cup as the experiment to allow junior/non-league teams to play in senior competitions rather than the Scottish. More local interest and some new teams to play might have livened it up.

From a supporters point of view, at present you're right it's not very inviting.

Really? Which of these didn’t you like

A viable format for a pyramid below the SFL.

Co-opting supporters/anyone with relevant beneficial skills on to the board to advise re community involvement, marketing, communication, website etc. Rather than simply a cash investment.

A pricing scale for blocks of games, particularly after the bad weather.

Free kids tickets for lottery agents.

I’ve also backed Kenny Black and the playing staff mainly because of their poor working conditions, do you disagree with that as well?

I actually like this competition. There's the chance to play teams we otherwise wouldn't meet during the season (luck of the draw of course). Plus the chance to win something, allbeit the media almost completely ignore the tournament.

Ayr at home! A good draw but would have been better if it was away!
