Well this final story of the day should allow The Stomp to remain active for a few weeks, cya all through the season.
International Clearance for Gary Muir has now been received.
The Club has agreed a 1 year deal with Ryan Wallace.
Ryan was released by Hearts in the summer and has been with us pre-season.
Terms were agreed after the Cove game on Saturday
The Club has also signed Paddy McCabe on a month long deal to allow
Jimmy to have a better assessment of him in competitive fixtures.
Paddy was the Under 19s captain last year
Young Goalkeeper, Daniel Tobin, who came on during the game against Cove Rangers after PJ Donnelly dislocated his shoulder has signed on Amateur terms for a year.

Good to hear that at least there is some movement on the player situation. I look forward to seeing these guys in action on Saturday.

And it never took long for the first negative poster to appear, not all those names came from the youth team, Jimmy has not had a lot of time or opportunity to look at players so given where we were two weeks ago it counts as movement on the player situation.

Unbelievable!!!
Last season the only positive thing about the Club was how well the U-19s did. There were lauded a few times on this very forum. And now, through necessity, we are getting the chance to see some of them make the jump into the 1st team, and there are the usual few snipers.

I wouldn't regard myself as being one of the usual snipers.
I agree that the only way for our club a go is to give youth a chance. However, this has to be balanced with experience. We don't have that and unless some experience is signed quickly I think this season is going to be terrible.

Going tomorrow and nervously optimistic. Concerned though about our squad size at this stage. The squad list someone wrote the other day had 11 players and only 2 midfielders! Are we playing a 5-2-3?
