Just an update on the SD Fans' Survey and issues stemming from the McLeish Review and SPL League Reconstruction Proposals.

The interim results of the SD Fans' Survey are now on our website - SD Website.

We will close the survey at 7pm on Wednesday (22 Dec) evening. There are over 3,600 responses so far and we'd like to increase that in order to give fans the opportunity to have their opinion considered. Please remind people to complete it (a five minute job), thank those who already have and point them towards the interim results. The full results and report will be issued once we've had time to analyse and consider the completed surveys.

If you use club or football messageboards please help keep this issue uppermost in people's minds and feel free to post postively about the survey and work of supporters' trusts. As someone on our online Yahoo mailing list said: "this is good and positive `we want to be part of a solution` rather than moaning about specific issues and sets out a nice `money isn`t absolutely everything` message."

The issues from McLeish and league restructuring are not going to go away so over the next few weeks and months Supporters Direct, with the help of all Scottish Trusts, intend to become increasingly public in representing the views of football supporters. You can help us by emailing contact details for the press and the decision makers at your club. We'd like to make sure the campaign message gets to fans through your efforts at the local level but also the national contacts through SD's efforts. Your help in building our contacts list is therefore appreciated.

We also hope that you can put the idea of a supporters campaign on the agenda of your next trust board meeting. We'd like to get feedback on what you'd like to see done and what the main objective of a campaign should be.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Kind Regards,
James Proctor
Development Manager
