Best Wishes to Gordon McQueen

Former Airdrie Manager, Manchester United and Scotland defender Gordon McQueen is to undergo treatment after being diagnosed with cancer of the larynx.

After reading the news I thought we might send our best wishes to Gordon and his family.

I'll second that, the McQueen years were just the start of Airdrieonians "Golden Era".

I thought he didn't look very well on Soccer Saturday a couple of weeks back. Best wishes.
