The first half dozen fixtures are now listed, just for fun but keeps me interested.

I've taken
Poland 2 Vs. 2 Greece
Russia 2 Vs. 1 Czech Republic

for friday's games

Poland 2 Vs. 0 Greece
Russia 3 Vs. 1 Czech Republic

I don't rate the Czechs or Greece too much. Unless Russia play a 4-6 formation (who would ever be so stupid to do that?) I can see them beating the Czechs comfortably.

So Poland screw up a 1-0 lead to draw with 10 man Greece 1-1.
Two sending off's and penalty save in the opening game made it interesting.

Can we stop the Prediction League now please?

Well after the two opening matches were quite exciting yesterdays matches saw Denmark taking the points against one of the early favourites Holland Score Holland 0-1 Denamrk.
In the late Kick off Germany did what Germany do defend and hold on until they get thier chance and the singlr real chance for them gave them there 1-0 over Portugal.

In the prediction league Big G holds on to the top spot.

In another even match Spain and Italy played out a 1 v 1 draw, like some of the other favourites for the tournament neither team seemed like they had made it out of 4th gear.
Croatia have now put pressure on Spain and Italy by hammering the Republic of Ireland 3 vs 1.

Diamond F, Diamond Gaz and Big G now share the lead only seperated by goal difference.

So the Ukraine Vs France was delayed due to a little bit of rain....so much for this being a mans game! After the resart France went on to Win 0 Vs. 2
Sweden Vs England the only match so far I think that has given us everything...
England take the lead disappointing the non England supporters amongst us

So Russia decide to screw up my coupon at the earliest possible stage, but no taking it away from Greece thier defensive displays have kept them in the competion 1 vs. 0 win see Greece through to the next round.
The Czech Republic after thier opening day disaster against Russia have left Scotland fans thinking was Levien right with his 4-6 formation.......NO THEY'RE NOT IT WAS PISH!!! Anyway Czech Republic go through as group winners after defeating the hosts Poland 1-0.

Next to progress are Germany they let Denmark back in to it but knowing they needed that second goal they did what had to be done then held firm for the win Denmark 1 Vs. 2 Germany.
Thanks to a Portugal 2 Vs. 1 win over Holland who have had a terrible tournament i'm now in second spot.

Forgot about a few games no that it would have mattered

So Spain an Italy are next to qualify, Spain left it late to defeat the Croatians but the 1 Vs. 0 win was enough to secure top spot in the mini league.
Italy sent The Rep. of Ireland home with no points, although from all reports it was a better game than thier previous two. 2 Vs. 0 gives the Italians second spot.

So with two matches to go it's come down to the wire StoneDiamondRugs and myself are behind Diamond F on goal difference only.

Portugal beat the Czech Republic 0 Vs.1 in a very dominant display, it could have and should have been more.

Well I thought I had lost this at the last I went for a 0-0 and after 15 minutes new I was in trouble, did everyone else go for Italy?

Any way Spain win the Euro's with a 4-0 win over Italy and I win the prediction league by one point.
