Airdrie Fixtures announced for season 2012 - 2013

 The Football fixtures have now been released for Season 2012 – 2013 and until notified of any changes Airdrie will be playing home and away (twice) against Albion Rovers, Alloa Athletic, Arbroath, Ayr United, Brechin City, East Fife, Forfar, Queen of the South and Stenhousemuir.   

With this morning announcement that the Scottish Football Association are trying to push through a merger of the Scottish Premier League and Scottish Football League and introduce some sort of pyramid system no one can really say what’s going to happen next?

In the mean time Airdrie will start the seasons against Arbroath @ Home,  we are still not allowed to announce the full fixture list, but I will add the quarterly matches to the prediction league.

To speculate, of we are promoted we would replace Dundee and this is thier fixture list.

Chris there is no precedent for Dundee to be promoted to the SPL there is however a precedent of the relegated team staying up after Falkirk failed tosatisfy criteria & Motherwell stayed up therefore surely the Dunfermline fixture list would be more appropriate.

Yip your probably correct CumbyDiamond, but at the time it looked the most likey scenario, now I don't have a clue what's happening.

The SFL message today even says Dundee's to be promoted.
