Partick Thistle 7 Vs. 0 Airdrie

Airdrie crumble to a humiliating 7-0 defeat to local rivals Partick Thistle. It’s a sad day when even the most devoted followers of the club leave the match before half time and head to a Maryhill Pub!

Having been lucky enough to catch ‘man flu’ last week I spent Saturday wrapped up on the couch with a Lemsip and sky sports, that lasted all of half an hour and I switched it off and watched Star Wars III – Revenge of the sith.

At about the same time I received a text saying “Headn to the pub already fckn shockn”. Now usually when I can’t make a match I get regular updates that was the only text all day and that tells me how bad things really were.

Before the start of the season with everything that went on, there was a call to support your teams through this season as things were in turmoil. I understood that call and still support it but I’m finding it hard to support a squad who play like they have thrown in the towel already!
