Gary Bollan signs a new contract

Airdrieonians have announced that Gary Bollan has signed an extended contract meaning he will be a Diamond until May 2016.
When you look at Gary's record so far for the Diamons you would think it was average.

However, speak to any fans and they will tell you the turn around since his arrival was dramatic.
Simply speaking this could be Airdrieonians best signing of the summer.

Fantastic news. I'm assuming he wouldn't have signed if he wasn't happy with budget etc.

No doubt clubs will be sniffing around next season if he continues to do well, but for now it is very positive - here's hoping the results come good, the fans/sponsorships come in and he has at least a decent budget to work with. <>

Delighted, he has shown a bit of loyalty by staying, something that is all to rare in football today.

JB keen to get GB on for 2 years knowing he could be in demand as early as next season, GB keen to continue the good work started and will know privately he will be noticed by bigger clubs if he continues doing well.
All in all, a good arrangement/agreement for both parties, the fans and keeps the profile of the club high - might even help attract extra sponsorship/support.
Assume both Balmer and Bullock will stay on too? Hope so! <>

Different situation from the Kenny Black scenario. Delighted he has accepted a 2 yr contract - will also add a bit of stability. Roll on start of the season. Hope we start the season on as good a run as we finished the last.

This news plus strips apparently to be ready before start of season plus good U-19s; seems someone is trying to up their game at the club. Hope the players follow the manager's lead.

Yes it is very good news and I hope it goes well. Season ticket now assured! Hope squad is up to his skills although when you think how he turned around Bain/Buchanan and the others wasted by Boyle I reckon he could work with any player he has chosen. But like most football fans who are result driven you never know when someone will be on looking for his dismissal.
