Wk 38 Prediction League Airdrie 1 vs, 1 Stenhousemuir

Airdrie secured a point that has probably secured our position in the Scottish League one but next weeks match against Forfar is now a much bigger deal. 

Airdrie rang the changes in yesterdays game making five changes from the team that lost 4-0 against Stranraer last week and I for one was glad to see those changes made. Unfortunately we stuck with 4-5-1 and it's only success was to give us and Stenhousemuir very few goal scoring opportunities.

It was one of those games that everyone could see it was going to take something special to break the dead lock unfortunately it came from ex-Diamond Alan Cook whose shot from well outside the penalty box gave Parry no chance.
It would have been very unfair (if not unexpected) if Stenny had went away from yesterday's match with all three points because in truth neither team deserved them, but it was with a sense of relief I celebrated when Alan Lithgow scored with a header in the final minute to give us a much needed point.

Pesadilla is still at the top but Snowstorm47 has snuck into second place and is now only two points behind the leader.
