Prediction League Wk 41 Ayr 0 Vs. 3 Airdrie Final Standing!

Airdrie won our final match of the 2015-2016 season in style, defeating 2nd placed Ayr 3-0 away from home. In age old Airdrie style it just wasn't enough as Stranraer won 1-0 against Cowdenbeath to secure the final playoff spot in the scottish first division. 

Airdrie showed our intent early on and Alan Lithgow opened the scoring on the 3rd minute, Dylan Mackin made it 2-0 to the Diamonds seven minutes later. That's the way the first half ended.

The only goal of the second half came from Sean Crighton and that was all she wrote for season 2015 - 2016.

The Prediction League.

The way scores have gone for Airdrie this season it's been tough to get the scores correct and this years prediction league winner only managed to get the correct score four times. I'm always amazed by the support the prediction league gets each year and this year was no different and I'm glad it came down to the final game of the season, but like all competitions there can be only one winner.

This years winner of Neil Parry's signed shirt is Snowsttorm47. Congratulations and I will be in contact once I've recieved the top from the club.

Yes I need to nip in to the stadium and collect it, I've not had a second to get in though.
