Well done,good three points,keeper played very well ,Andy's coaching paying off.Alloa are a good side though and will be wondering how they lost this one,they did and it makes a good weekend.

We did have some Dick Turpin moments and Ferguson had some great saves as shot stopper/also took high balls quite well, but some hairy moments as well. Boateng and Gorman did the job expected off them with good defending and blocks, but somehow we lost a goal from straight down the middle bouncing ball. Conroy had a super goal as did Ryan from a great passing move which brown delivered really well. I still don't quite get the value of Leitch as for long spells no one matched Holmes as Alloa passed us off the park. However two counter attacks should have resulted in breakaway goals as Ryan and Brown went for shots whilst guys were ready and waiting for "nearly" tap ins. It was in a sense typical Airdrie-just as you fear a thumping they rolled up their sleeves and deserved to win. The Ref did not seem to think Alloa's centre halves ever fouled! Well done the Diamonds

McBride thinks this will be one of our most difficult games,said that our last game as well ,I wonder what games he thinks will be our easy games, seen a lot of our games this season and very few games have we been the better side,where do we get them ,as far as any change is concerned any would be better than what we have ,only my opinion.

To misuse the cliché " there are no easy games at this level". It is a bit like Andy Murray when he reckons every up coming game will be tough; it usually is especially for this supporter, so probably McBride is hedging his bets in case we lose at home again? Mind you Andy Murray usually goes on to win and has won more tennis matches this year than anyone on the men's circuit. If only we could talk about Airdrie/Scotland winning more than two games in a row.

"When Livi won the old Second Division title in 2010-11, by 23 points, they had 18 points from their first 9 games. Same figure as this year.
