Prediction League Game 16 Airdrie 0 Vs 5 Stenhousemuir

If there was ever a way to end a run Airdrie did it in style yesterday (that’s why we’re Airdrie eh!) as we crumbled and were humiliated by the mighty Stenhousemuir with a supporting role from Referee Mat Norcroft. Never was I so glad to have to leave a game early as it was my works night out.

Airdrie started the game well enough with a couple of chances falling to the attack and maybe if one of them went in the result could have been different, but we didn’t and Stenhousemuir took hope and then five goals from that.
Willis Fertado started the rout on 32 minutes followed quickly by David Marsh 3 minutes later. On the stroke of half time Daniel Boateng was shown a second yellow card and sent for an early shower, ex-Diamond Alan Cook made it 0-3 with the resulting free kick. The second half saw goals from David Marsh on 56 minutes and then Carlos Mazana-Martinez ended our embarrassment on 66 minutes.

As 89% of Airdrie fans went with a home win there is no change at the top of the prediction league.

With rumors that we are now going to be four first team players short due to injury and suspension a tough time is ahead for our next match against league leaders Livingston next, if the four are confirmed then it's time for our fringe players to take there chance.
