Airdrie dropped to third position in the Ladbrokes first divsion after a shocking display against Queens Park at Hampden. I could come up with a million ways of trying to defend/ make excuses for the Airdrie display but in the end we were god damn awful and there is no defending that.   On 20 minutes, Ross Millen broke down the right wing to cross for Gregor Fotheringham to open the scoring. In an act of defiance Iain Russell got Airdrie back in to the game, after a foul was committed on the edge of the Queens Park box, Conroy put in a simple lob that Russell headed home. The second half came  Daniel Boateng giving away a free Kick on the edge of the Airdrie penalty box as the Airdrie defence debate how best to defend the free kick and hold the line Sean Burns chipped the free kick goalwards and the header fell to Ryan McGeever who slotted past Rohan Ferguson.

Prediction League

With most of the Airdrie support expecting a better result than the one we got it's no suprise that there is no change at the top of the prediction league.
