Pred Game 25 Alloa 2 Vs 1 Airdrie - relegation battle begins

Ahead of yesterdays match against Alloa I had a little hope that we could still pull maintain a play off spot, yesterdays defeat killed that hope and with eleven games to go I now believe that within the next three weeks we will be fighting to avoid a relegation spot never mind fighting for a promotion play off spot.
Airdrie should have went in to yesterdays match confident as we hadn't lost against Alloa this season, instead we we're 2-0 down within 20 minutes and it feels like it's game over and I don't just mean the match, a switch seemed to click and all hope for the season seemed to drain away.
Even Russels goal a few minutes later didn't lift the spirits.
Alloa's goals were scored by Andrew Graham on 4 and 17 minutes with Iain Russel getting our consolation on 22 minutes.

There was no change to the top of the prediction league with the gap being four points.
