Comings and Goings at Airdrie

There seems to have been more than one change in the Airdrie back room staff over the past week, not the least being the appointment of our new assistant manager.

Since the departure of Kenny Black last week speculation was rife over who would be the next assistant manager at Airdrie. The news today confirmed that Owen Coyle has taken the job and as stated on the official site Sandy Stewart knew who he would select before all the speculation in the Daily Old Infirm and Sunday Mail over the weekend. In fact the reports in the press have probably not helped some of the fans who saw the return of Alex MacDonald as a huge step forward. It was never on the cards. So let's welcome Owen Coyle to his new position as Assistant Manger and wish him the best of luck in his new position. In other news it has been announced that Ian Constable our Physio for almost 15 years I believe. Has left the club to concentrate on running his own Private practice.
