This story comes in two parts: this first section relates to points award scheme for the players who come first in the weekly MOTM awards.

I thought I would keep it simple:-

3 points if the player won the MOTM
2 Points if the player came second
1 point if the player came third.

This of course relates only to the poll on the Broomfield Stomp and has nothing to do with the award given by the club or match sponsors.

M. Wilson 34
Gow 15
Christie 11
McLaren 10
Roberts 8
Coyle 8
McKeown 8
W. Wilson 6
Hollis 6
Hardie 5
Barkey 3
Docherty 3
Lovering 3
McManus 2
Dunn 2
Varielle 2
McGeown 1
The whole team 1

So do you agree has Marvyn Wilson been our star man this season, having competed in every one of our first division games he has probably proven to be one of our most reliable.

However, Alan Gow takes over second place very comfortably; having only played 6 matches this season due to a recurring injury would Alan have been up there competing with Marvyn for the title?

Kevin Christie makes his way in to the top three on merit, maybe not every ones cup of tea but he has certainly been consistent when played in the central defensive position.
