In a month that devastated to footballing calendar, Airdrie only managed to play two fixtures. We had snow, we had ice, we had frost and we had rain and I don’t think the temperatures went much above four degrees.
The good news is we went undefeated in both matches, so I suppose it wasn’t a total bust.

Airdrie climbed two positions this month, going from the lofty position of 5th to the even more impressive 3rd in the Bells First Division. In saying that we have only played two fixtures this month Partick Thistle away and Raith Rovers at home. We picked up four points to be in our happy position.

The weather has taken it's toll on all our matches this month and being out of the cup once again gave us some freedom to re-arrange cancelled games against Hamilton. Unfortunately the weather was to have another point of view.

I'm going to set my targets pretty low this month and look at getting a possible seven out of twelve points this month. Although we got close to matching Falkirk in our game at Christmas I can't see us beating them. Wins over Hamilton and Queen of the South are a must although either fixtures will of course take a toll on how important the matches become. Clyde is a difficult one to call, they have shown us nothing we should be afraid of in our games against them but they always seem to come away with a result. So I am taking a draw.
Overview
A win and a draw during February lifted us up to 3rd position in the league. On a poll on the site 100% of those who voted think we have had a good season so far. With 10 games to go the league is so tight it's still difficult to know whether we will be playing first division football or not. But, for what it's worth i think we will survive easily and in style.
