Schools Cup 2005

Airdrie United once again announce the launch of the United Schools Cup, After our inaugural year last year we have once again changed the format of the competition to suit the secondary schools in the local area.

We realise that many Airdrie supporters hark back to the days when the competition only allowed primary schools in to the competition, but in this PC age that were in this was never going to be possible.

So instead we bring the nine high schools of the local area together and are building a competition that we hope will last the distance.

The nine teams involved in the competition are listed below.

Rosehall HS
Caldervale HS
Coatbridge HS

Group C
Columba HS
St Ambrose HS
St Margarets HS

The upcoming events page of the Supporters Trust Website covers the competition in more detail http://www.airdriesupporterstrust.tk/ This is a chance to forward the aims of the trust and bring the club further in to the community. We hope that the fans of Airdrie United will come out and support this event and see it as a step in the right direction.
