December 17 2005
Airdrie's final match before Christmas sees us taking on Brechin City in a home tie that we need to win, Doing so would give us the breathing space to concentrate on progressing rather than looking over our shoulders.

The last time our two teams met was at Glebe Park and the match finished 1-1 a defensive mistake by Fraser Coyle allowed the combination of Alex Burns and Grant Johnston to get a vital point. Fraser missed a few games After that error but has now returned to play a more confident and assured player.
Sandy Stewart has Brian McPhee out through a one match suspeneion, Stephen Docherty out through a two match suspension and long term injury concern Gary Twigg, although back training with the Diamonds will not make todays match.
The good news for Sandy is the SFA executive committee seeing sense for once and retracting last weeks refereeing mistake that saw Martin Hardie red carded.
With two of our front line attackers out of action today who would you play up front?
