Exclusive news to the Stomp, Alan Shearer of Newcastle and England fame has chosen to begin his coaching career in Scotland.

 

After months of speculation over the management position at Newcastle Alan knows that some day the job down there will be his, however he feels that before he begins a career as manager he has to try his hand a coaching in a slightly smaller arena.

 

The deal between Shearer and Airdrie, relates to gate increases due to his attendances at our home matches. Every time the gate goes above 3000 Alan takes the money home In a brown paper bag.
