The match against Rochdale Hornets was called off because of a waterlogged pitch at Hurst Cross. The game had been in doubt all weekend but after a pitch inspection at 10:00 the decision was taken to postpone the match. This is the second time that this match has been postponed due to bad weather...
Weather permitting the Roughyeds will play local rivals Rochdale Hornets. This is certain to be a close hard fought game and should hopefully attract a near capacity crowd.

Oldham are still without the influecial Keith Brennan and Tommy Hodgkinson. The Roughyeds were dealt another blow this week with the news that Kevin Mannion is to quit rugby league in order to take up a full time coaching job at Orrell RUFC.
