The meeting opened at 8:15pm with Mr D Patterson in the chair.
Apologies: - Angela, Mr P Heap, Mrs J Wild, Mrs C Scott, Mr M Middleton, Mr G Sedgwick, Mr P Plevin, Mrs K Rowlands, Mr & Mrs Shyne, Mr & Mrs Salway, Mr J Stark.
Minutes: - The minutes were passed round and everybody read them and there were no amendments.
Treasurers Report: - Margaret gave a brief report that we had £550 in the bank and £30 in hand bringing a total of £580.
Matters arising: -
1. Sylvia said that a draft letter is to be done about outstanding funds as soon as possible.
2. Sylvia said that we are getting name cards done and a suggestion was made that we do a raffle for Leigh. Sylvia said that they had an Andy Farrrell shirt at home.
3. Sylvia suggested that the world cup draw to be done at the break and the draw to be done by the members. The winner of the draw was Mr P Royales and the runner up was Mr A Woodward.
4. Sylvia reported that she had seen Mike Doolan and told him the bike ride had been cancelled and apologised to Mike.
5. Sylvia said that the database is now nearly up to date, it just needs new members added.
6. Sylvia said that the website is now in progress and somebody on the website wants to speak to David and that the minutes start to go on the website and Ian also said that he was in the middle of putting the constitution on.
7. Sylvia reported that we put the end of season dance in abeyance at the moment.
8. Sylvia said that Bill had got a copy of the hotel for Cardiff trip and that she wanted the money as soon as possible for tickets.
9. The cricket match has been cancelled.
10. Sylvia said that the brewery trip is to be brought up again at the next meeting.
11. Sylvia said that Colin Morris would do the Fans Forum as soon as we have a date and it was suggested that we arrange it for the beginning of the next season.
12. Sylvia reported that the last match of the season to put food on at Hare and Hounds for after match and to get a gift for Landlord and Landlady. Sylvia to get in touch with Keighley to see how many will be coming. Sylvia showed a Keighley badge round to members and Bill is to look into a company he knows for prices.
13. Sylvia was asked by Ian about new letter heads and membership forms which he had not seen from the last meeting.
1. Sylvia reported that Margaret and Lee had made enquires at the Bath Hotel for events such as Darts and Pool, to have a look round and it was suggested that we see about Sunday lunch.
2. Sylvia asked if anybody else had any more events in mind.
3. It was suggested by Ian that we should put an advert in the paper wishing the Board of Directors, Steve Molloy and players every success from O.R.I.S.A. David said that it would also go in the Huddersfield programme.
Date of next meeting at Clayton Arms will be 7th August, 2002.
