Valencia Testing Round Up: Wednesday

Sauber Petronas continued its four-day test at the Circuit de la Comunitat Valenciana Ricardo Tormo on Wednesday. Nick Heidfeld took over the driving and covered 105 laps in chassis 05 to set a best time of 1:11.804.

"Today we have done aerodynamic and tyre works for Monaco and Montreal," said Race Engineer Remi Decorzent. "We dedicated the test day to the selection of the front wing for the next race and also did some set-up for Monaco.

"Furthermore we worked with Bridgestone on the tyre choice for Montreal. Nick covered many laps and so we were able to gather a lot of data which we need to confirm tomorrow.

"We have tested some new parts today and as far as I can say at the moment we believe to have found some slight improvements. But this needs further data verification too."
