Team Sauber Petronas continued its three-day test at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza yesterday. Heinz-Harald Frentzen covered 81 laps in chassis 05. Nick Heidfeld will take over the driving today.
Jacky Eeckelaert (Head of Vehicle Engineering): "In the morning we focused our attention on low downforce testing for Montreal and have conducted an aerodynamic programme with different front wing configurations.
"Later today we also assessed tyres for the European Grand Prix at the Nürburgring on 29 June. We could complete our test today without any problem.
"Heinz-Harald Frentzen covered a lot of laps the last two days and delivered a valuable amount of data which we will need to verify together with Nick Heidfeld tomorrow. Part of the tomorrow's programme is also the confirmation of our tyre choice for Montreal."
