Peter Sauber Denies Michelin Rumour

After a wave of reports about SAUBER PETRONAS conducting talks with Michelin to switch to their tyres for the 2005 season, Peter Sauber has categorically denied the rumour. "There are no plans in that direction at all," Sauber told Atlas F1.

It seems rather odd that just a few days ago Director of Michelin Motorsport Pierre Dupasquier confirmed that there had been talks between the two parties. Clearly something is going on behind the scenes and it is possible that Sauber is simply not ready to talk about it yet. We will continue to follow this developing story.
