SAUBER Continues Search for Young Gun

SAUBER's interest in Vitantonio Luizzi is heating up with speculation that the newly-crowned F3000 champion will test a C23 when the team visits Jerez in two weeks time.

Luizzi is rumoured to have had a secret seat fitting with SAUBER recently. He is reported to be at the top of SAUBER's list of candidates to replace Giancarlo Fisichella who will move to Renault next season.

It was highly publicized a few weeks ago that Jacques Villeneuve visited SAUBER's Hinwil base, but it is less well-knows that DTM star Christijan Albers has done the same. Albers is more commonly linked with Jordan and is expected to test for them later this season. SAUBER is admitedly looking for a young driver and Albers could fit the bill.
