Productive Test Session in Jerez

Team SAUBER PETRONAS continued its three-day test at the Circuito Permanente de Jerez today. Jacques Villeneuve covered 108 laps in chassis C24-05 to set a best time of 1:19.611s. Tomorrow Felipe Massa will take over to complete the test.

Paul Russell (Test Engineer):

"In the morning we evaluated new aerodynamic configurations and packages, and then continued with some set-up work. Later we did long-runs to further assess Michelin tyres for the race in Magny-Cours. We achieved what we planned for today and seem to have good results.

"Tomorrow Felipe will carry on with the Michelin tyre programme and will also run aerodynamic tests."
