Paul Heffernan set to sign for Nott'm O'Forest!

Notts County's Paul Heffernan is all set to sign for Nottingham Forest. The Irishman had an immense season with the magpies last term, despoite them being relegated.

Accroding to various media sources we are about to secure the services of Notts County's Irish striker Paul Heffernan for a sum in the region of £300,000 with an extra £100,000 clause depending on how many goals he scores for us.

The player had a brilliant season with the Magpies last term and was one of the few positives in a dire season for a club who were relegated from the Second Division.

The player wouldn't be likely to start matches for the Reds and will probably sit out the majority of games on the bench- Marlon King, Gareth Taylor and David Johnson would probably be above him in the pecking order. We must not forget Craig Westcarr, also.
