NOTTINGHAM Reserves' Australian defender David Tarka has been called up for the Aussie senior squad. The player is yet to appear for the Forest first-team but if he can impress on the international scene Kinnear will surely give him his chance.

more international player to add to Nottingham Forest's already
impressive list of players who have been capped at senior level.
David Tarka, the Aussie defender who is yet to make a start for the first-team has been called up by the Australian Football Association. Maybe the youngster will be able to put on a good show and will impress Kinnear enough to let him be given a shot for the promotion chasing first-team instead of the reserves. When we first captured this lad it sounded like he had real promise and the fact that several Premiership clubs were also hot on his trail had me confident that we had an instant key player on our hands. Unfortunately problems with his settling into Great Britain have damaged his chances so far. Hopefully no, though he's ready for action. |
