| Danny Sonner, who has not yet been
offered a new contract by Forest manager Joe Kinnear, is apparently somebody
that Walsall would like to (re-)obtain the services of.
The ball-winning midfielder was released by The Saddlers prior to him joining us, but with them now being relegated to the Second Division they will know that Sonner is the kind of player they will be needing if they are to bounce straight back up. According to several other of my sources, Mansfield Town are also chasing the player- despite the fact they missed out on relegation. Finally, I have been notified of the fact that Bradford City are supposedly being linked with the player, as they would be able to get him on a Bosman-inspired free transfer and at the moment they can't afford to splash out on anyone.
