According to the "This is York"
website, York's equivalent of The Evening Post Online, we are in the bid for
Cardiff City target Lee Bullock. Apparently we are leading the chase for the
York City player who spent two-months on loan with The Bluebirds last season.
Ipswich Town were also rumoured to have been
hot on the tail of the player and chasing his signature, but today The Tractor
Boys denied having any contact with the Suffolk Club.
"Lee Bullock's name has, therefore, been
circulated and five clubs have expressed an interest. Ipswich are not one of
those clubs but there is at least one in Cardiff's division that would represent
a good move for Lee."
The player is a free-scoring midfielder, kind
of like Andy Reid, and he would be a valuable addition to the Nottingham Forest
squad- If not in the first-team then at least a strong back-up player.
